Labor Day has come and gone, which means we’re officially well on our way into autumn. As much as we’ll miss the heat, there are some fun gadgets that will make transitioning into the cooler months a little easier! Here are 9 of our favorites – all under $100.

1. Hamilton Beach 6-Quart Programmable Set ‘n Forget Slow Cooker, $49.85.

Slow cookers are great in the autumn because they let you come home to hot meals with hardly any work. Plus, they won’t heat up your apartment in the last warm weeks of September. A popular pick is Hamilton Beach’s 6-quart slow cooker, which feeds a family of four with leftovers. It’s easily transportable, automatically switches to warming mode, and you can manually enter your cook time without fiddling with the settings. Don’t need that much food? Freeze the leftovers or use a smaller oven-safe dish inside the cooker to make the amount you want.

2. PhoneSoap Charger, $59.95.

As much as we love fall, it’s not perfect since it’s the start of cold and flu season. So it’s crucial to keep yourself and your objects as clean as possible – especially your smartphone, which is riddled with bacteria. The PhoneSoap Charge uses UV light to sanitize your phone in just 4 minutes. And it’ll charge your phone if you want to leave it in longer.

3. Honeywell Germ-Free Cool Mist Humidifier, $65.99.

Another way to combat cold season? Using a humidifier helps you avoid respiratory infections and can even ease your allergies! Check out Honeywell’s Germ-Free Cool Mist Humidifier. While a little bulky and slower than other humidifiers on the market, Honeywell’s model is quiet, easy to fill and purifies the water before sending it into the air. Plus, it’s dishwasher-safe so you can clean it easily without worrying about damaging the electronic parts.

4. Impecca PowerIt Portable Charger, $59.99.

As much as we love portable chargers, we hate that we can only charge one device at a time. If I need to charge my tablet and my phone simultaneously, I have to carry around two chargers at once! Not so with Impecca’s PowerIt Portable Charger, lets you charge two USB-powered devices simultaneously. Finally!

5. Kisha Umbrella, $75.

$75 for an umbrella sounds insane at first, but what if you knew you would never lose it? The Kisha Umbrella connects to your smartphone with a Bluetooth connection, alerting you if you get too far away from the umbrella. Plus, it notifies you each day if it’s going to rain so you’re never caught unawares again. The umbrella was funded by a Kickstarter campaign so they’re still shipping in limited quantities – the next one will start on October 1.

6. Calphalon Apple Slicer, $9.99.

We love eating seasonally, so we’re looking forward to lots of apple dishes this fall. If you are too, get the Calphalon Apple Slicer. It’s affordable, easy to use and makes baking apple pies a breeze.

7. Photojojo Phone Lens Sampler, $49.

Did you take a ton of photos on your phone this summer? You might be realizing that you’d like to take better ones as you upload them onto your computer. Consider investing in a lens you can attach to the back of your smartphone to take better and cooler photos. Photojojo’s sampler comes with wide/angle macro, fisheye and polarizing lenses.

8. Princess International Red Retro Smart Mug, $21.

When the weather cools down, the last thing you want is a cup of lukewarm coffee. Keep yours heated with this travel mug, which plugs into your car’s cigarette lighter to keep your beverage at the perfect temperature.

9. FitBit One, $99.95.

Are you looking to get back into shape in the fall after a summer of lazing around? The FitBit is an incredibly popular activity tracker – but it’s annoying if you already wear a watch and don’t want to add the device to your wrist. Check out FitBit One, which clips discreetly to your pocket or belt. It tracks sleep, steps, floors climbed, active minutes and even works as an alarm clock.
